The Musket Ridge Junior Academy is a new non-profit partnership between the club and World Long Drive Tour Professional Josh Jackson. Josh serves as both a mentor and teaching professional to Academy juniors, as well as host for the yearly Get in the Game benefit tournament. The mission of the Musket Ridge Junior Academy is to grow the game in Maryland through nurturing local disadvantaged juniors ages 6-16 who have an interest in golf by providing access, instruction, and equipment to introduce them to game. Academy scholarships are awarded to recipients who may lack the resources to learn the game or access to a course where they can practice. Scholarships also cover travel expenses and tournament entry fees for Academy members who would like to play competitively. Scholarships are funded by the generosity of sponsors, donations, and proceeds from the yearly "Get in the Game" tournament. All donations are handled by the 501(c)3 "Musket Ridge Junior Academy" and are fully tax deductible.
How can you help Get in the Game and support this great cause?
- Nominate a junior. If you know of a local junior who would could be helped by this program, please complete this form to connect them with the Academy.
- Sponsorship. If you'd be interested in sponsorship opportunities for the Academy or the 2025 Get in the Game Tournament, please contact us directly, or complete this form.
- Mentoring. If you know of a local individual, business or organization that would be a good fit for a hard working, eager to learn Academy kid, please get in touch for further details on how to begin the screening process.
